Martin ukončil studium fyzioterapie v roce 2003 a začal pracovat ve Vítkovické nemocnici v Ostravě.

Jeden rok také působil jako fyzioterapeut v Saudské Arábii.

Od roku 2009 je součástí týmu fyzioterapeutů Centra Paraple.

Profesně byl vždy zaujat tématem vývojové kineziologie, později propojením vnitřních orgánů a pohybového aparátu a v poslední době rozvojem tématu respirační problematiky u lidí s poškozením míchy.

Martin je pravidelným aktivním účastníkem konference ISCOS (International Spinal Cord Society Annual Scientific Meeting). V České republice se opakovaně účastní spinální konference České společnosti pro míšní léze, SCI Day a konference Pneumologické společnosti.

Je dlouhodobým členem České společnosti pro míšní léze a je zde koordinátorem tematické skupiny Poruchy dýchání po poranění míchy.

Martin je v ParaLabu garantem tématu Respirační problematika po poškození míchy. Jeho hlavním cílem a přínosem má být vytvoření systému dispenzarizační péče respiračních dysfunkcí u osob s poškozením míchy, nastavení cílené terapie a navázání mezioborové spolupráce se specialisty.

Martin Gregor's journey commenced in 2003 with the successful completion of his physiotherapy studies, paving the way for his professional odyssey. His inaugural station was the Vítkovice Hospital in Ostrava, where he diligently commenced his career.

A year of transformative experiences awaited Martin as he embarked on an overseas expedition to Saudi Arabia, donning the role of a physiotherapist. The international exposure broadened his horizons and enriched his skill set.

In the chronicles of his professional history, 2009 marked a significant milestone when he joined the esteemed cadre of physiotherapists at the Paraple Centre. Here, his pursuits veered towards the captivating realms of developmental kinesiology. As time advanced, Martin's curiosity led him to explore the intricate interplay between internal organs and the musculoskeletal system. More recently, his intellectual voyage has been charting the unexplored waters of respiratory issues afflicting individuals with spinal cord injuries.

Martin is not a mere observer in the field; he is an active participant, a dedicated torchbearer in the arena of spinal cord injuries. His attendance at the ISCOS (International Spinal Cord Society Annual Scientific Meeting) conference is a testament to his commitment to advancing knowledge in his domain. Closer to home, in the Czech Republic, he is a familiar face at events such as the Czech Spinal Cord Lesion Society Conference, SCI Day, and the Pneumological Society Conference.

Within the Czech Spinal Cord Lesion Society, Martin is a venerable long-standing member, and he shoulders the role of coordinator for the Spinal Cord Injury Respiratory Disorders thematic group.

Stepping into the realm of ParaLab, Martin assumes the mantle of the guarantor for the topic of Respiratory issues after spinal cord injury. His primary mission is twofold: to establish a comprehensive system of dispensary care for respiratory dysfunctions in individuals with spinal cord injuries and to forge collaborative partnerships with specialists across disciplines. His dedication and contributions serve as a beacon, illuminating the path toward enhanced care and therapy for those in need.
